Taking place over the October Bank Holiday weekend, Savour Kilkenny Food Festival is one of Ireland’s premier food festivals! Whether you’re looking for a weekend break or a family day out we have something for every taste!

Dining and Drinking Events for 2026 are now live here, make sure to book early to avoid disappointment.

Entry to Festival Quarter is free, and is home to the Savour Market, Craft Brewers & Distillers Marquee, Cookery Demos and Family Entertainment. Dining events, workshops, exclusive events and talks are individually priced and ticketed. All events and links to book can be found here.

How to get here

Located in the South East of the country, Kilkenny is never too far from where you land on our shores. Whether you’re coming by plane, boat or automobile we’re rarely more than 2 hours down the road.

Fly in to any of these airports and rent a car to be in Kilkenny in less than 2 hours. Dublin (90mins via M9), Cork (<2hrs via M8), Shannon (<2hrs via M8) or Waterford (<1hr via M9).

Sail to Dublin or Rosslare, and bring your car or rent one. Then Kilkenny is 90mins away from Rosslare Harbour and 100mins away from Dublin Port.

Direct bus routes to the city from Dublin, Waterford, Carlow and Cork (via Waterford) are run by JJ Kavanaghs. With trains from Dublin and Waterford too.
